Some of you guys ought to know this...
I can't find a story or children's book I read 30 years ago. It's about a pacific island boy who's village was destroyed by a rival tribe. He was rescued/adopted by another island tribe, and eventually adopted by a royal family. I vaguely remember that there was a girl who turned out to be one of the royal daughters, and maybe the boy turned out also to be royalty?
I've done some searching and can't find the story. Anyone remember this one? thanks...
