Combat Challenge Series - 2014

Combat Challenge is now going to be a regular feature between two-week off periods of FSO.

It will be a host to historical fighter vs fighter match-ups using SEA terrains of the time and period. The objective will be for the two sides to engage in air combat and shoot down enemy aircraft.

This will be an FSO squad and Walk-on friendly event. All are welcome and it is not mandatory for FSO Squads. This event will take place at regular FSO time at 11PM EST and will run the standard FSO length of 2 hours. It will be unlimited lives in the span of the two hours. All four aircraft will be enabled at T+60. Flight will be disabled at T+120, logs will remain open till all pilots are down.

Using the logs as a record, Points will be recorded for pilots and squads. The scoring will work as follows.

Enemy Kill    =   01 Point
Friendly Kill  =  -02 Points

These points will be recorded and kept over the entire year of 2014. Leader boards in various statistics will be displayed at ahevents.org.

Fly what side you want, but I may ask some guys to switch if it becomes to much of an issue, but most importantly have fun!

Where can I find the log for this event? This was a fun event. Definitely different than the MA. No dot dar or dar bar and 3k icons. I believe I was the first person to get shot down but I grabbed a new plane and managed a couple kills and damaged a couple others. Hope to try this again and I recommend it to anyone looking to expand their horizons in AH. Thanks to Nefarious for running it.
