Saw this a few minutes ago in the text buffer:
The achievement is supposed to be given for 1,000 hours in the air but GV hours count as well.
I resupplied a field with an M3 and got time counted towards this achievement.
So there is a bug with including GV hours or the name needs to be changed, because you could theoretically get it without ever leaving the ground.
Maybe give the GVers their own time accrued achievement: "Creepy-Crawly Mud Goblin" or something like that.
