It is in fact a lot more plausible for a pilot to have an antitank weapon than magical ins-ta repairs for GVs, well put.  :salute

Wouldn't that thing have a good chance of detonating its warhead as the pilot struggles to get of the cockpit of a tumbling, wrecked, and possibly burning AC?  Would be a bad idea, right? :D

That's an 'I want, so there' sounding response to Ammo's rather logical statement, P.
It kinda comes off like the 'I want a 109T because, well, because.' thing.

"The Panzerfaust consisted of a steel tube containing a propellant charge of gunpowder.
The grenade, which consisted of a small bomb attached to a wooden stem and fins, was
inserted into the front end of the tube. "

Yes, because asking for a single anti-tank weapon is akin to requesting a nuclear powered mobile suit with laser weaponry. You're not being funny or cute. You simply want to try and belittle a request that would actually be fun and not terribly historically inaccurate, especially when taken in the context of all the magical historically inaccurate crap we already have in this game. If you don't like German equipment that's fine,  state that you dislike the idea and then take your bullshit elsewhere and quit being a jackass.

Actually it is terribly historically inaccurate. As much as wielding a battleaxe in the cockpit.

The weapon is not historically inaccurate, the fact that a downed pilot has one is a bit inaccurate. But so are insta-repair supplies, teleporting GV's, magical carrier puffy ack,  wirbles with laser rangefinders, bombers that can put unguided ordnance into a 10 by 10 square from 35k, etc, etc. If this wish is so offensive then we should all probably be up in arms about a bunch of other things too. My point is simply that this game is not meant to accurately simulate every aspect of WWII, it's simply meant to use accurately simulated period correct equipment.

And fighters weren't equipped with Panzerfausts. Also, that would be a 'field mod' and we also don't even have other occasionally or rarely used field mods.  :)

And you conveniently ignore the rest of the post, because it suits your argument. :)

GV's are not what the game is about :old:

The MOST stupid thing is a tank shooting down a plane :old:

So, you want it because there's already stuff in the game you find too inaccurate? That's just odd.  :lol

You've already stated you want it yet you're not being over the top over and over?  :aok

Can openers. The game NEEDS some bloody can openers. They existed in WWII.
Pilots even carried them in their cockpits. What needs coding is can openers.  :D

P.S. They are more realistic than 30 second refuel/reloads.  :aok
