Still worth watching in the theater.  It's well made and if you don't show support for movies like these you will see a lot less of them being produced.   Support a good cause and there will be more of them.

I was just thinking about that this morning, how I hope everyone, myself included, that has taken the opportunity to watch it early still sees it in the theater in order to support those who made it, and more importantly who it was made for.  I saw an interview last night with Cindy Axelson, and it was a very powerful and sad thing to watch her speak about her husband, and this movie.  I'm going to see it in the AM and PM the first day it comes out, something I usually do with movies I've been waiting for anyhow.

I do think whoever released their screener copy early should be pretty scared right now, considering how Pete Berg gets about these things (see mental), and how Marcus and other Seals threatened anyone who messed up the film.

The film has had a fantastic opening weekend.  Their projections after the limited opening were just under 20 million.  It's done nearly double that, almost 40 million, and that's USA only, not worldwide.  It's great to see the support they are getting.  It's the 2nd biggest January opening in a long time, possibly ever.  I'm very happy for Pete Berg, Wahlberg, and mostly for Marcus Luttrell.
