 What am I doing wrong?

 B-17 500lbers ...dropped ,and every bomb hit  a AA, or fuel/ammo bunker RTB'd
 and only scored 3-5 perk points (can't remember exactly)

 P-51 Fighter... Killed a B26/P-51 RTB'd and got 2-3 perk's

either I'm reading it wrong...or I'm just not getting the point...especially when I'm struggling to get into the hundreds..and there are people in the thousands

 Please be gentle in the replies.

The perk awards were changed sometime ago so that ack killing do not give that much perkies. (U can kill acks by 100lb bombs btw).

The people who got > 50 point sorties earlier got em from factory/Hq strikes by bomber or jabo which do not give that many points anymore.

The A-to-A points seems ok and is always been that way. You can get more perkie points by killing low value planes by hi value planes.

So, your perk gains are in line with others.

Bomb with a Ju88 and take down the dual FH with the 4000 pound load out. then use the 100s to take down the ack. look at the points from that.

Take a P47d25 instead of a pony for your fighter sorty. Things like this will get you more points.
