Peek cold here in the great white north in the past 3 weeks....

-51*C   or for those of you to the warm south.... -59.8*F   Now that's with the windchill included, but still... It's COLD!  :bolt:

And those who don't understand laugh at walking backwards into the wind at these temperatures....

Now it all makes sense! That's where the term ICE HOLE comes from! Your back end while walking backward!  :rofl

Seriously though, I grew up in Minnesota and had my fair share of -40 with 30 mph winds blowing.
It's why I live in Western Washington today (and sinece I was 18)...you don't have to shovel the rain in winter months and if you WANTsnow, its 1 hour away in the cascade mountains!

I feel this phrase best describes the weather here in the last few weeks: "In Texas we have two seasons; summer and winter. It is not uncommon for these 'seasons' to alternate several times a week."

Currently mid forties right now. It hit 12F overnight Monday and was close to the seventies on new years eve.
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

We have a cold front moving through right now. Getting all the warm jackets out and extra blakets. It will only get up to 62 for the next couple days. Fricking COLD here.

It has warmed back up to 21 degrees, so it is time for the girlfriend and I to get out the mountain bikes and winter riding gear.
