There was a big attack heading to V10 the other night so I head towards it. It looked bad for me but we needed air cover. In the mean time Bishops sneak 9. Oh lord! By the time I get there it is choas and mayhem. There's 5 low cons but 2 full red darbars. Figuring I was about to get hammered anyway I dive on a 110 and dispense with him. Then head for another 110, he towers. A call comes out a goon has landed on the beach. Zipping over a hill I see him, nice silhouette against the sandy beach. He towers. Ki84 comes after me. Things go well for me there too. And then a bunch of high Rook 38s show up. One of the ground guy screams in a high pitch voice, Runnnnnnnnnnn! I did like, a little girl. Grab to about 7k and come back. When I get back all the vh's were down and I think only one friendly gv up and someone in the manned gun. But the mayhem. Rooks and Bish were swarming the base. At one point it looked like 5 Rook 38s were on one bish 109 and the 109 was on fire. I stayed out of that.
Fortunately more friendlies showed up. One countryman had the foresight to kill the vh at 9. Somehow we managed to save v10. In a large part thanks to Rooks and Bish fighting over it. We supplied 10 and now had troops.
Then the real horde began. 9 was swarmed in the air from C8 and then on the ground from v10. It was beautiful! We got the base back.
