Not bad, though I'm sure all players at a specific field could tune to the same channel. How about the ability to tune to a field number and hear its range chatter no matter where you are? (There's probably an inherent flaw in that idea somewhere.)

they'd have to move around the other blocks of free channels. lots of squads use a 100-199 or 200-299 for a "squad channel"
