Odd Bomber Problems yesterday
« on: January 20, 2014, 11:52:42 AM »
We ran a squad B17 mission yesterday.  A 190 attacked one set of B17s taking out the lead plane on the three plane formation.  Our squad mate was towered even though he had the two planes left.  His planes continued to fly even tough he was in the tower.

Then I had a 262 come in on my formation.  It was a good battle until I lost my ability to switch from the pilots position  to gunner's position after loosing a plane.

I can't label this a bug or even a technical issue since it has never happened before and my guess want happen again.  Probably just  one of those things.  Also we were running Thrustmaster GUI and team speak which may have been at fault.

Anybody else have some odd occurrences yesterday?

I've had a strange thing happen when engaging bombers a few weeks ago.  Engaged a formation of lancasters, shot down all three but got credit for shooting down 4 Lancasters instead of 3.

Yeah, yesterdy was really weird.  While defending against that B17 Strat raid, 6 of them just dissappeared in front of me while firing at them with my G2 with cannon pods.  Maybe it's a full moon.

Discoed 5 times yesterday (discos have happened rarely to me in the past) and on the fifth disco came back in flight to find my Hurricane IID upside down on top of the tower of an airfield 3 sectors from where I was previously in level flight.   :headscratch:

Was in the DA yesterday and somebody was joined on another persons plane to give them some advice. I shot them down, and received two kills. One for the pilot, and one for the joiner.

Several months back, I had similar situation ack-ack. I encountered another set of enemy bombers while I was flying my set of B24's We crossed paths and I shot his set down (Lancasters)and got credit for 9 instead of 3.
