Limited Time Free Video Editting Software

Reading another forum this morning, and found this:
Could be useful for those on a budget who want to get into video editting.  It's legit, downloaded and installed this morning. Be aware you will need to give an email address and sign up on the site. https://hitfilm.com/express/free

You also get asked to share it to twitter/facebook - to get a license. All I did was click on yes, but didnt share it, no big deal.

Hopefully somoneone finds this useful - its only free up to the 4th Feb - after that, its going back to its usual price ($149)

Pretty easy to use - not dug deep into it yet.

Dolbs, no catch that I've found so far. Fully functional, no indication of anything untoward on the system I've installed it on.

Think this is just a marketing campaign kinda deal - judged on the twitter/facebook share thing they have for it. As I said, I got the licence and didnt share (even if I did, I'd just unlike/delete the post anyway)

Wouldn't install on my other computer because "Incompatable processor type." Apparently an 8 year old computer won't run it, going to try on the 13 year old computer just for giggles.

Mine wouldn't work because it said "This serial number has already been used."

I received the license number in the email they send.

I'd send the buggers an email asking for a licence that works. Poor customer relations and all that.
