Its a nice looking bird, but its no Heavy bomber.

Its bomb load is about the same as the current bombers, its slower, better defensive guns but not by that much. And I remember reading that they had a weak fuselage which sometimes broke up on landing.

But it is also a transport as well which is armed so you get two aircaft types for 1 aircaft

Did this bomber ever drop the Fritz-X?

If so, this bird with that weapon, perked heavily of course, would be an awesome add. That weapon would also likely be a perked option for both the Ju-88 and He-111.

It would not. Only the Do-217 and perhaps the He 177 did ever carry this weapon operationally. You may be thinking of the HS 293.

Add the HE-117 instead.

Do 217 or Ju-188 should be the next new aircraft to be added.

Do 217 would probably be a better MA performer, due to larger internal bomb load, and a higher speed. But the Ju-188 would be better for special events, historical coverage, and still wouldn't be a slouch in the MA.

For the Do 217, imagine TU 2 with a B-24's bombload and maneuverability.

For the Ju-188, imagine, imagine a Ju-88 on roids, with 13mm mg's and a 20mm cannon (Note, it has the same internal ordnance loadout as the Ju-88).

You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

Highly unlikely that a combined bomber/transport that is faster than the C-47 will be added.  Ju52 is probably the only other transport that has a shot at being added.

The dedicated transport variant of the Fw 200 was unarmed and there were few of them made. While the armed variants may have been used for transport from time to time you could say that about other bombers as well, some of which are in AH already. If you allow the armed Fw 200 to transport stuff, why not He 111s, Lancs or G4Ms as well?
