I always wished I had a first class train set.

I had a buddy with a really nice diorama. Some great trains in a terrific set up. It was mesmerizing watching those trains roll.

I found a 1962 Lionel set in an attic. Was only a 2-6-0 but came with some nice military cars. We set it by the Christmas tree on the holidays.  :D

The Greenies won't like all that black smoke from the 20 tons/hr of coal consumed.

20 tons/hr.. that couldn't have been cheap to operate.... How much water did it consume too?

This thread derailed quickly.
That was very puny...
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.

that seems way too much coal for 1 hour.  since the "fuel" car only carried 25 tons.
