In all the years I played it I never once saw anything like that. Or even heard of it.

Then you never played during the early years when it first came out.  I'm sure you can still find the video on YouTube of the Bf 110 taking off, spinning like a helicopter and flying around.  Then there is the BS fantasy of giving countries planes they didn't have during the war, like the French having the P-38F.

yea u have Mindanao Island however that map is inaccurate as to the mountain heights, there is no mountain over 2,954m or
9,692 feet. This Mindanao map has mountains over 15,000 feet. So it is not an accurate map of Mindanao Island.

The situation on Baltic is the same, but they would be boring for game play without the original builders taking such license.
Easy in-game again.

I agree.  Would be fun to fly over WWII era London.

Sounds like you should try Cliffs of Dover.  :aok

Mindanao - highest elevation - 11,190 ft. per wikipedia.org, I couldn't find any mountains on the Mindanao terrain over 15,000ft , however, the map does appear to be about 25% smaller then actual size, in other words, its not an accurate map

Problem is, that for balance purposes, you pretty much have to take something, say Oahu, and mirror it so there are three of them set so that they are positioned to show the same coast to the enemy Oahus.

Have they got it working now?  I read it was a disaster when it first came out but have heard some good things about it lately.
