In BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE Irvin.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Actually I was hacking your FB account with your new  wife.  :neener:

Yeah, Irvin is looking good! 3 sacks in two games vs good teams.

Now, we just have to get our offense up to par with our defense....

Our running game is ranked 2nd in the NFL now. No RB has more yards than Marshawn Lynch since week 9 of 2011.  :aok

Passing offense...well, Rookie QB, what can we say?  :bolt:

Bruce Irvin went to West Virginia University. I am a Steeler Fan (Because I know what your digging for) because I lived in Pittsburgh for 4 years.

If West Virginia decides to buy the Cleveland Browns from whoever currently owns them and moves the team to say Charleston, I will root for them.... As long as they are not in the AFC North. :) Just like I root for Cleveland when they are not playing the Steelers. ;)

It's been a year and 5 months since Nef started this thread, and 1 super bowl for our Seahawks under the belt.

There is a lot of talk about Irvin. His first year we used him as a DE in passing down situations subbing in and out with Chris Clemmons. Then picked up Avril, Bennett in the 2013 offseason and during the 2013 season, Irvin went back to a pure linebacker role.

With free agency coming up, we expect to lose Clemmons, Bruce Irvin will probably fill that role again (DE in passing down situations) sharing time with Bennett (assuming he stays) and Avril.

I just wanted to add that our team was so deep prior to the 2013 season that we had the most scouts at pre-season games who wanted the guys we cut when the roster was trimmed to 53. Pretty good position to be in. And tied for the youngest team to win a super bowl (Miami Dolphins, 1972)

I wish Owen Schmitt wouldnt have screwed up and got the boot from Seattle. I would have enjoyed seeing him hoist the Lombardi as well.

Yeah, his football career was short!

Found this in Wiki;
Schmitt attracted media and YouTube attention in the aftermath of a game during the 2009 NFL season during which he smashed his helmet against his head until he opened up a large gash.[10] On September 6, 2010, the Seahawks released Schmitt, citing the lack of need for a true fullback in the Seattle offense.

I don't remember this. :huh

Another thing is he had a tied-for-4th best 26 reps of 225lbs at the combine! That's pretty good.
I warm up with 225lbs these days at age 53 and then sets of 8,6,4,2 reps to final 295 lbs (twice). I do this once a week.(My max was two years ago, 350 lbs, on my 51st birthday) I should see what my max reps of 225 lbs on bench are.    I'm guessing 15-20, somewhere in there.

Two mistakes there, "without" should have been used too. ;)
