questions

I keep getting a pop up box from AH telling me something about zone alarm and firewalls. I do not use zone alarm and have been disabling windows firewall and MSE before logging, whats this mean?

Lately deaths and kills are not being totaled when playing, has there been a server issue about this lately?

Usually the pop-up appears after a patch, since ZA and other firewall programs with similar approach to Internet connections will show their pop-up about the changed program behind the game window. ("The program aceshigh.exe has changed since the last time you used it. Do you allow aceshigh.exe to access the Internet?") The user may not notice it at all and keeps wondering why he can't log into the game. That used to be a major PITA several years ago when there wasn't a Windows firewall.

IMO there's no need to disable Windows firewall before playing, since it doesn't care much about programs going out from your computer.

IIRC death and kill registers are updated after logging out. The list of last kills/killers on the score window seems to  be in real time, though.

It can also mean a completely dead connection to the server.  Usually the route to the server being disrupted by damage and/or damage repair, especially this time of year.

Also note, if you run Norton or McAfee, they will cause it as well and you cannot stop them from doing it as the disable function in those programs simply stops reporting problems, but does not stop them from doing the damage they can do to a game connection.

In the past, deaths and kills were reported realtime as they happened, has this changed? I would land, enter tower and they would be tallied.
I have more deaths and kills than my score suggests for the month of Feb. But my score reported only 3 kills and 2 deaths for a couple of days, I know this is incorrect.  Please note I am not talking about ranking.

I do not use ZA, Norton, MacAffee, or any other virus program, never have, except MSE. I have only used MSE, with this current build and OS install. I have Malwarebytes installed but it is not active persay. I turn off MSE realtime before logging.

Skuzzy are you saying that the pop up box is a generic msg that AH puts out after each game update?
Is the tally reporting different from actual game play reporting?
I do not understand why you would say I have a dead connection when I have been able to log, play and engage an enemy, just no score tallies.

Both questions are not that big a deal, was just curious.

Tanx for offer of help, but I am not talking about disco's or not being able to log. Its the kill/death tallies I wonder about.

Today I started day with 4 kills and 3 deaths listed. I know that this is incorrect this far into the month. Hell I died 2 times yesterday within 5 minutes of logging on.
Today I made 7 kills and died 2 times, the game currently has me at a total 9 kills and 4 deaths. MA only tallied 5 kills and 1 death for today. I just wonder why. After today it should be 11 kills and 5 deaths. These are immediate tallies, yes, they were in the past. Ranking is re-calc'ed once a day I believe, based on your score tallies listed, yes..

Do not care so much about score, I flew the game and enjoyed so.................others have talked about this on vox as well.

Ask no questions learn nothing.

The WEB site is the official score keeper.  The game only shows what counts towards your rank/score.  Rank and score are tallied once a day (about 10:00am CST).
