So I got my beta invite, and was just about to check it out. But then I actually READ about the gameplay. I don't care if it violates my NDA to say it, because I'm not going to even bother participating:
Basically, it's just an MMO StarFox. If you're hoping for an Aces High-style X-Wing or TIE Fighter, keep waiting, 'cause this ain't it. It's a glorified rail shooter. Loops and Split-Ses are handled via button mashing (no idea if your R2 will shout out "Do a somersault!" in-flight) rather than ACTUAL flight input. It's designed around mouse/keyboard, and joystick mapping is a pain.
