Trolling on a corporate level.
« on: February 21, 2014, 12:17:38 PM »

DHL decided to get some free involuntary advertising from rival deliverers.

Giant packages were taped with thermal active foil and cooled down below the freezing point.

Competitors pick up a black package that transforms back in above-freezing temperatures.

lmao, too bad dhl doesn't have the home delivery options that would make them faster.

DHL left the USA market years ago, except subcontracting. Since its not a US company it is not allowed to make domestic flights between U.S. airports. DHL contracts these services to other providers.

.I have had to use companies that hire dhl for deliveries on more than two occasions. I had the opportunity to do a direct comparison between dhl, the mail and ups on 3 orders made the same day to companies in the same region. The only one that stood out was dhl. They stood out as they were the slowest delivery system of all 3 consistently. I got the other orders in 3 days, dhl delivery in 7 and all 3 companies sent me an e-mail confirming shipping the same day on similar products (music cd's). The first experience I had with dhl was waiting 2 weeks for a washing machine pump to be delivered 55 miles. They did not get better more than 6 year later.

I now check with the company I am buying from who they use to ship the product. If they say dhl I go elsewhere unless they are the sole source.

DHL, I believe, is the only service that will ship lithium batteries.
