Learned today I'm a Racist.............

One of my wife's students is from Jorden, While we were visiting them. a man with blond hair blue eyes came asked them in arabic for atlas. I realized he spoke english to, So I asked him if he was from Germany as that sounded like his orgin by his accent. He say no Palastian. I look 5 times at him he saw I was confused, But was polite. He then says he's going to Ca. I look at his car its 2 arabic dark skins in back seat, Him a another blond hair light skin in front. When i asked student how he knew them he said Mosque. they wanted to borrow his atlas for thier trip. Well when I wrote down lic # and thought hard if I should call someone, ( because I thought what a great way to travel for terriost a light skin man driving would not be stopped I thought, This is when I realized i was a racist.


 I guess its easier than I thought to become a racist.

Profiling has become code language for racism. Highly controversial and problematic though not something that should be simply surrendered.

Several programs and protocols have been put into place that would engage profiling in a non-racist manner. I would imagine a blonde from Germany driving individuals with apparent Middle-eastern background is one thing. A blonde with German accent claiming to be from Lebanon invites another question or two, which a difference between thoughtful screening and flat out racial profiling.

We in America are so upside down on this that old women and 5-year old girls get sexually assaulted, while individuals with much more interesting demonstrations walk right through. A sidebar, we should accept that TSA is a joke and provides ZERO security. Anyone wanting to get through TSA can get through with nearly 95% certainty.

America is wallowing in political correct statism.
