Account Problems
« on: February 22, 2014, 09:58:30 AM »
I need help in sorting out an account problem.  I have not been online with AH for a couple years, and in fact had attempted to cancel the account several times but I my credit card is still being charged by HiTech.  I have tried to log in using my original Screen Name ID and a second one I had changed too and even had a log in reminder email sent to me. When I tried the log in reminder it said the account was deleted but as of today I am still being charged on my credit card for the subscription. Please help me with the following:

 - Please look at the date of the account deletion for log in name "rosburn" and "warhorse" and note when the account was finally deleted.
 - Check with billing and please credit my account with the months since deletion until current OR I would be happy to accept a game credit and if you will reactivate my rosburn account with the credit I would like to return to AH.

Please feel free to contact me via email: Russell.osburn@gmail.com or call me at 417.684.3619. I wish to resolve this matter as painlessly to both as possible and reinstate my AH account or establish a new one whatever is easiest. But again I have had an ongoing subscription charge for a "deleted" account that needs resolution.

Thanks!
Russell Osburn

An email, or better yet a phone call during regular business hours would have it fixed in minutes. I called this week and talked to Hitech himself on an issue with mine.

Just give them a call at (817) 431 - 8840

You will be helped much faster that way, they won't resolve your billing issues over the forum.

Okay guys thanks a lot. I am sure this is a "self-inflicted" problem and look forward to getting it sorted out and back online. I will give them a call, thanks for the phone number. Russell

Good Day Russell, Sir,

As has already been said you need to by Fugi and BluBerry, please contact the HTC office who are located in the central time zone   CST    of the US.....

Here is the contact info page of Aces High

http://www.hitechcreations.com/company-info/support-contactus

You can email them at the listed billing email address or call them.

I recommend calling them during weekday business hours, and talking to them personally!  I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

as for how you described your situation:  you can find your login credentials in the following location C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High\settings\  folder  the info is listed in the file titled login.cfg

edit:  Please Note:  Your login password may have been automatically changed , if you tried to recover lost login info, it would have came via email, just a heads up

Welcome back to AH, if it all works out for you, Sir!

Hope this is helpful!

TC

Just wanted to close this out - I contacted Carrie and she did a great job sorting the account issues out at HiTech.  I confirmed as I suspected the issues were "self inflicted" and she quickly got me straight.  Log in works, account active, all I need is a carrier based squadron to join! :)

Russell

VF-17 Jolly Rogers is a Corsair squadron based, somewhat, on the historical VF-17. We rationalize our carrier operations due to VF-17 being integral in testing CV operation viability for the F4U (though they ended up being transferred to operate off the islands due to logistic reasons) and due to VF-84's operations off of the Bunker Hill (that squadron's core being formed around mainly Jolly Rogers). I'm trying to get the squadron more active in the LW Main arena. Currently its activity is primarily in the FSO (which, unfortunately, seldom offers a Pacific War setting and even more seldom offers the F4U in them). Never-the-less, we have organized training centered on the F4U (we have training officers that have set up basic, advanced, gunnery and CV operation 'schools' that are offered to new recruits and vets alike).

Check out our websites:

http://thejollyrogers.net/

See if you like what you see and if you think you and the squad are a good fit.

 :salute
