Tanks did shoot at planes, that has already been proven.  That you don't accept it is an entirely different matter and not germane to this subject.

What kind of proof would I like to see for the P-63?  There is ample records that it was used in combat in the Far East with the Soviets during their offensive against the Japanese, the only thing that is suspect are the two supposed A2A claims but not its use in ground attack missions.
