About as dark as it gets. The little girls both did a fantastic job of acting. Very believable performances by each and I was impressed especially given their age. I loved the just in the nick of time rescue of Judith scene.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

BE SURE AND POST A WARNING SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPOILER SPOILER ALERT ALERT!!!!!!!!

I agree, I think for such a young actress Brighton did a fine job, she isn't as drab as Carl, who is played by Chandler Riggs.  Brighton's emotions were impressive.  The storyline was certainly a tear jerker, my mouth dropped when Carol and Tyreese found Lizzy with bloody hands and Mica dead.  I said aloud "oh wow" during that part, and actually said "thank God", when it showed Judith being alive and healthy.

I was also impressed that Tyreese forgave Carol for her deeds back at the prison.  I seriously thought Carol was covering for Lizzy, but it appears not so.  Carol did indeed kill Karen and David.

I'm really enjoying the series.  I think they've done a great job.  I feel sorry for the dunderheads who over analyze it and proclaim "the show sucks/they're doing it wrong/Daryl this/Rick that/blahblahblah".  It is too bad people just cant enjoy the show for what it is (entertainment).  Trust me, I have my questions and "complaints" (missing gun sights, etc), but all in all the storyline, plot, acting, etc, all is enjoyable.  To each their own.

I didn't start watching religiously till this season I watched most of season 1 then stopped there it was by accident really. But this year I watched the whole preseason marathon and really got sucked into it I love the show it's got great writing and performances especially for something so non traditional, this season has been odd but good and the episode last night was/is one of the best I have seen especially considering the size of the cast and the stories but last night was only about the 3 1/2 of them and the girls did a fantastic job the whole thing was so well put together hope to see more of that quality writing going forward. Sad though cause this season is almost over

I thinks Carls "drabness" and lack of emotion is the point.

In the Zombie future, and BTW Im fully prepped for it, the kid lost his childhood and instead was transformed into a cold blooded calculating killer. Even more he found out he liked it. Some people like killing yaknow. I think Carls is one of them.

Wow, I just watched the entire thing. Chad Coleman is really coming into his own as an actor. His work as "Cutty" in the Wire was dang good but he is really hitting his stride in WD. At first I was kinda upset with the themes of this year but now i understand what they are doing and why. This episode was one of the most shocking.

I myself think society will break down one day tho a zombie apocalypse is kind of a stretch. But this story is a never ending stage for drama. Boy I'll miss it when it ends.
