It is uninstalled there was a popup and you had to click" next" to get to a survey so you could uninstall.  What a load of crap I installed Adobe 11 so I could open a pdf .

If all you wanted was a PDF viewer, you should use Foxit PDF Reader.

In my case a hidden installation question was behind the config window. Major pita! :furious :furious :furious

The latest adobe reader plugin for your explorer file preview window in Win7 may have a memory leak. I had the game crash three times in about 10 minutes after I had been playing for a few hours this week. In task manager under processes I noticed I had only minimized explorer because there were adobe processes and preview host processes running from a gunnery manual I had been reading.

I closed explorer and killed the adobe process tree. The game stopped crashing to the desktop when I went back in for another two hours.

This is kind of obscure but, a first for me after my last reader update. Before that I was leaving open multiple copies of adobe, file manager with a pdf file focused in the preview window, and playing online for hours with no problems.

I guess the NSA is making a last minute attempt to get something slipped into all of our PC's before congress or the SCOTUS spanks them........ :noid  ;)

Like Skuzzy suggested.......

Uninstall the Adobe Acrobat PDF file reader

then go download Foxit PDF Reader for free

if you can get by without needing or having to use  Adobe Flash Player, I suggest getting rid of it as well.....

but if you do use it, I recommend that you keep it updated ( have to manually authorize it to update, do not check the update automatically without asking box )

if you must have a PDF file editor, I suggest you get Foxit Phantom PDF Editor/reader ........... and stay away from any of the Adobe Software

my humbled suggestion

best of luck and hope this helps
