I can answer that question.

NO ONE LEAVES AH!!!!

Everyone who has ever been here is still here. They may think they left but that is just the dream HTC has created for them. No one may leave..no one!

I recently reactivated my account (I had connect problems before that have alleviated somewhat). Let me assure you that I was not able to get into the MA without giving my credit card. I was curious too about that loophole and took the opportunity to see if it had been closed, and indeed it has.

I suppose if I wanted to fly under another name or IP I could try, but if you are asking if attempts are being made to prevent such abuses, I think I can say they are.

shut down by 'da man' towd

Heh.

I figure that with the influx of new users coming with 1.05 and all the cool features, probably about 20 - 30% stayed on. (which, business wise, doesn't seem to be too shabby of a number)

I still miss the first days of 1.05 with 200+ people in the MA.. but now we have a consistant 160 or so during peak hours which we didnt have before.

/edit - Kirin, you're probably right. I'm usually on after 10:30 - 11:00 weekdays and I'm probably not a source for 'peak usage.'

Since I have restarted (late last week) there have been around 200 on every night I have played. Numbers are way up.

When I started playing all most a year ago there were a steady 75-85 people on every night. 1.05 comes out and AH all most triples in the MA.

Good job Hi-Tech, Pyro and everyone else in pulling those numbers in.

hello all:

hey NHFoxtro, where did you learn how to do math. you say a year ago there where 75 to 85 every night, and now it is almost triple that with 1.05.
well when I do the math, triple of what it was almost a year ago going by your numbers, would put 225 to 255 in MA each night. But I only seem to see around 160 to 180 at peak hours.

sure hope you dont have a job that has numbers involved in it.

NHFoxtro is using American math were as you are using Canadian math.  If you do the proper conversion you will see he was just making a point and not using a calculator.  His point is the increase in play from Beta to 1.05 6.

If you really MUST know, just look at the score pages and see how far down the rankings go. DUH
