very easy to develop, HTC needs to only create an 1 method api that mobile app can request the online players from ...

That is actually not a bad idea. Develop and enhance the social/community aspect of the game.
If we could send simple messages to each other through this app would be great too (between the apps, app-to-game may be abused?). This is better than forum PMs because we can use the in-game handles instead.
