Bozon...

B-17 flew for the 69 "the Hammers" squadron, note B-17 tail number 1602 skin there: http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,355982.0.html (the second one with the painting of with Mickey Mouse on the tail)

Beaufighters flew for the 103 - the "Elephants" squadron - now flies C-130/C-130J

The single Mosquito XVI had flown for 103 as well, however it was used strictly for reconnaissance missions during the Independence war.

So technically they were not part of the 101 squadron but flew for IAF in general.

I know artik. I thought that by "they" Zack meant the IAF, not 101 specifically.
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.

No... IAF had operated Russian planes only as trophy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_of_the_Israeli_Air_Force#Captured_.2F_defected_aircraft
