I'd bet for the most part that as score goes up scoring goes down.

I'd say "scoring" of this nature is probably inversely proportional to the number of hours logged. I feel sorry for any young man logging enough hours to get really good at this game
As one gets older, settles down, and becomes a bit more sedentary, then it is a good pastime/escapism.
