do we have any idea yet what kinda of vid card we will need for this so I can save my pennies? :salute

with the new system you may find yourself with a better running game and not need to upgrade...

unless of course you are running a complete dinosaur system....

mine is a duel core 2.9 GHZ
a 1 gig 4830

I am betting AH will run better on my system...

it is going to far more optimized.  :aok

The NVidia 9600GTX, with 512MB of video RAM, is our target performance card for this release.  Shader Model 3.0 will be the lowest shader model supported.  If your video card doe snot support that, it will not run the new update, when it is released.

Would Intel HD be able to run the AH? Currently it runs it pretty well (30-60fps) even with detailed terrain. Would I be able to play AH after the upgrade?

It is very premature to start talking about the hard requirements and what will and what will not work.  The only hard requirement we have is the video card/chip must support Shader Model 3.0.

We will go through some type of Alpha/Beta testing to see how it all fairs and will probably be fine tuning things for some time.
