<<S>> LCA & 327th

:salute LCA for superior escort and sweep.  Great comms and excellent work over A126.

:salute 327th for taking a small group of guys and coming into an extremely vicious environment with defensively unarmed aircraft.  We tried like hell to get the CAP down to us so you had a chance.  Well done finishing off 126!  We managed to shut the base down in the end.

We received the call to advance to A131 if we could make it.  After hitting A126 we decided to turn to the SE and attempt it.  We were hoping the A131 CAP was low on ammo and scattered after the other strike group attempted an attack.  As we arrived in the vicinity, we discovered the enemy CAP was back up and in position waiting on a second attempt.  We lost all but one bomber last night.

Well played over A131.

Either way, it was one hell of a fun night!  Thanks again to LCA and 327th.  Well done!

we had been waiting for you for a while.  we resisted moving into 126 as other squadrons had been assigned to defend it and our mission was to defend 131.  we were fully armed and went thru your formation taken down a lot of lancs but you didnt go down without a fight.  I myself landed at 131 without an engine as I foolishly crashed into the wing that i had taken off a Lancaster.  I kept hearing bombs falling as i was landing kindda ducking hoping that I wouldnt catch a lucky bomb  :rofl.

it was a lot of fun  :salute.

Hello: tunes here ...

The Commanders and Pilots of the LCA Thank You for the kind words.

We had a great time meeting the objectives of the attack plain.

The Aircraft: Spitfire MK XIV was up to the challenge and so where
the Pilots that manned her.

Good Times
