You got a point there!

Edit -  I read a rumor back in January that the super mustang would be a no frills "Boss" car extremely lightened down to the 3000 lb range with a highly tuned coyote engine.  Even so, it's still conjecture

holy crap!!! really??!! a stang THAT light, will pretty much assassinate virtually anything in its price range.....

It is often added to sporty vehicles to allow for extending the fender more easily. Either by mounting a fender flare extension, or rolling out that flattened part.

(Image removed from quote.)

surly you aren't calling that abirition sporty, are you? that's more like someone needs to be stabbed in the knee caps with an icepick for ruining a perfectly good car......

I've just now realized this. Mustang fanatics don't get their pleasure out of having a nice car, they get their pleasure out of saying that others' cars are worse.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

I got sick of working for my vehicles so now I only drive/ride cheap functional stuff. My 2003 4ltr Falcon is plenty of car for an old fart for me and it was only 3 1/2 grand when I bought it. The only expense in the last few years was a coil pack at less than $200
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

i went through a phase like that. i was daily driving a 1993 geo prism. when i went to visit a friend in hazelton pa, there were a lot of hills. i had to turn off the ac to maintain highway speed going up some of them, lololol.

the 4ltr 6 cylinder has no power problems for road use and it's as economical as my N13 Nissan Pulsar for highway use. It's a bit thirsty around town though.

Still driving my 95 Integra.

What AC?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

The old iron warhorse in that falcon kept surprising many when its HP just kept climbing each new model. It has great mid-range but the stick a snail on it and it becomes a real beast! I just wish they were not forced to use the old chassis from the AU.

I did convince a mate from Hong Kong, who was going to make the typical Camry buy, to tryout and pick up a BFII Falcon after I showed how little difference in running costs there was between them, and how fun the falcon was to drive. And that was me being a Holden fan...

I Love Aussie cars and am so sad that 2016-17 will be the end of it all.

negatory on that ghost rider. we do however speak the truth, and if you've taken a good looking car, and done something stupid to it, we will let ya know.  :aok

Not really sure a 4 liter inline six falcon is anything like a prism since it is rear wheel drive and available with up to 416hp in stock form.

I really want to get hands on a barra inline six.

it's not, but if you think i was comparing the two cars, then you missed the point all together.
