Well I have been back now for about a month after a long 'leave'. I got a good machine now and a large monitor so can see things I never could before. I still prefer the bombers because I can not dogfight at all. Like my heavies, the occasional twin engine low and fast tree dodging, and then the fighter bomber in out and gone. I try dog fighting, but just can't get the hang of it. A few questions.
How do fighters manage to appear at 25K plus over a target, is there a fast option to get there, just asking because I show nothing on 'radar' yet over target fighters appear. Did they actually stage and climb or is there a fast path I do not know about?
We have trouble getting 'gunners' on our crews. Last few games my boy can fly another group of aircraft, but can not join crew to be gunner. Glitch?
Larger formations. The old group flew the other night and we used to do multiple up to 5 3 plane formations, now we can only do three groups of three using wingman auto pilot.
Still prefer Aces High over the others. To me war thunder is a joke, IL2 COD no longer populated, but I still do 'The Mighty 8th' now and then, old but still fun getting that B-17 to target and back.
Keep up the good work, with better computer and monitor not as frustrating as old days, still would like some more variants of aircraft...
