Werd. I stopped reading Larry McMurtry cuz he always killed off his heros and that pissed me off.

His books were really long too. That was irritating. It would like take me like 12 hours to read them.

Try Robert B. Parker's Cole and Hitch series... Fast reading, highly entertaining. Start with Appaloosa, then Resolution, followed by Brimstone and Blue Eyed Devil.
