I think I will pass on this one. We already have six 56th FG P-47D-11 skins and when this 332nd one is added there will be only six slots left open for D-11s in the game.

For the 56th FG what I'd rather do is a P-47M skin, as apart from the default 63rd FS one I have yet to skin one of those. So if anyone can find me at least one good RL photo (not just a profile) of a 61st or 62nd FS P-47M that's not already been skinned I'll do that.

Here is an alternative for your bare metal base, though I understand nose checks/diamonds are very difficult to do with the cowl shape warping. You didn't seem to have a problem doing the default 78th FG cowl though:

353rd FG Slybirds   LH-B   Auchincloss   Lt. Bayard  The New Yorker. Pretty sure there are no 353rd 47s in the game. I had a full fuselage photo at one point but all I can dig up at the moment is this A2A skin. Either way, I'l try to find it again.

Here is a nice color, unmarked late D which looks like it is over near Republic field on Long Island.

Sorry but on all the AH P-47s the bottom part of the cowling is stretched vertically. As the stretched area is slightly less than one square tall, the 78th FG's vertically divided square checkers can be made to work. However the 353rd FG's diamond checkers can't as most of the bottom row of diamonds on each side just smears vertically.

Your Redtail Squadron skin looks great in the game~ colors are not too overbearing and the insignias are very crisp, especially your Black Scorpions emblem. :aok :aok :aok :salute A joy to fly!

P-47D-23-RA flown by Lt. Richard D. Stark of the 82nd FS and was lost on 3 September 1944.
