Spitfire V Skin Request

Hi Guys,

I'm currently reading a book about the 31st Fighter Group who were based primarily in North Africa and then Italy in WWII.  And of course I'm now flying Spitfires and P-51's in AH which were the planes flown by the 31st.  I was wondering if any of the skinners would be interested in skinning Lt. Darylmple's Spitfire V at the top of this page:

We don't have this color scheme for a Spit V with USAAF markings in AH so it might be a good add and one I would fly for sure!

I'm sorry, but no.  I just went looking on Google for all of the different paint scheme's flown by the 31st, but I don't have a photo of this specific plane.  Mostly I was after this color scheme for the Spit V, so if you find a different 31st Spit V that is better documented then go for it!  We already have a great 31st Spit V skin by Greebo in desert camo but not in this color scheme.

Greebo just did two 31st FG Spitfires a few months ago.

And those Greebo skins are great, but the skin I am requesting is a green/grey scheme that was also used by the 31st on Spit V's and Spit IX's.  I've not seen photos of a 31st Spit VIII with the green/grey scheme but if I find one I'll post it.

The 31st has a total of 5 skins as it is. Not too shabby a Spit V two Spit IXs a Spit VIII  and a P-51D skin.  If they get a P-51B skin they'll be well represented. However keep asking asking somebody may take you up on it. I'm really surprised there are no 4th FG Spitfire skins.

I was planning on starting the 31st skin once I finish with my current project. I'll take a look into 4th FG skins as well.

I started one but I never finished. It was way back when I first started skinning though and I was frustrated beyond belief.
