I'm looking for the WW2 manuals or instructions for carrier landing procedures of USN, USMC or Royal Navy. Probably "instructions video".
I'm especially interested in the expected glide slope data, descent rate and speed on the glide slope and on the touchdown, the point of engine cutoff etc.
Of course it isn't for AH landing.
This works perfectly well.
I want to compare the landing according to the procedures in AH2 and IL2 FB 1946 - I want to make sure I follow it "to the book". I have strong suspicion that something is terribly broken in IL2 FB 1946 as when I "cut" the engine close to the deck it takes lots of time the plane starts to sink and I find myself at the center of the CV rather in the beginning.
In generally when I cut I keep the stick in the same position and it immediately sinks, in IL2 it reacts slowly. I just want to make sure I work according to proper procedures to
prove the point.
