I'm a dunce cause I like the f4f as any idiot can fly its forgiving stall, indifference to compression, gun bloated, Kevlar skinned sneakiness to good effect. It never hurts to get shot down in as I can delude myself that its because its such an old plane and not really my skill that's at fault and if any body wanders into my bullet stream it makes me feel fantastic.

I just started using the 109f, and not being familiar with any of the line my first expletives involved the canopy eyepatches and this thing with the ground when trying to shoot ack. I was feeling smug about how long I was lasting against a nik but then I had to go look up the performance comparison on what's his names site and felt a little crushed. Still it gives off a glow of competence even if undeserved, (all plane no fighter? (As in all hat no cattle.))

Now put me up in a d-9 la7 -4 tempest or, god forbid, a 262 and I'm dead in seconds for sure, plummeting with tears in my eyes and mocking laughter ringing in my ears to a crater of futily consumed perk points or just plane old shame and embarrassment.
Pies not kicks.

My main ride knocking around the MA is the D11.  Twistiest jug of the bunch, can keep up with most of the planeset as long as it's got alt on the bandit, 8x50s, bombers just give you an oil leak unless they really get a good shot on you.  Plus it got a bump from 30 to 35 ENY which makes the perks flow even faster.

I've been bouncing around to quite a few different planes lately though.  I want to like the 109F but the guns are simply not large enough for my needs. :D  Mossie is just plain fun and performs a lot better than I thought it would, but it makes me look fat when I have to get defensive in it.

Most of the high ENY planes are usable for me, but I just can't stand the P39 and P40 series.  I think it's because I rely too much on engine power to win.

Wiley.
If you think you are having a 1v1 in the Main Arena, your SA has failed you.

Ah, that's a good one. That ki-43 is the turniest of turnbirds. You can saddle up on anything... which is good, because it'll take a while for the cowl guns to do their work. Still, love the bird.

I haven't tried the F version of the AirTurd but I've spent some time on the N and E and even the B.
