JROTC, CAP, Naval Sea Cadets, in U.S, and similar abroad
« on: June 14, 2014, 11:38:08 PM »
I am starting this discussion now, though we won't likely begin activities until July or August.

This post is to AH members, regardless of where they are located, within the US, Europe, etc. I am working with a JROTC program that has an interest to learn the concept of flight. They are going to sign up with CAP to learn ground school and the discussion grew to ideas around teaching flight. I immediately threw out the idea of forming an AH squadron. It was very well received.

What I would like to see is AH members help JROTC, CAP, Naval Sea Cadets, etc form similar squads and compete. If you are interested in this discussion please post here. You don't have to be a member of JROTC, I am in my 40s and doing some volunteer work. Let me add, I would love to have some groups form in other countries, to add that dynamic to team building, etc.

Please...jump in! Lets build our community at the same time we provide many real world training opportunities for our youth.

Boo, if you pull this off, let me know and I can host some war games in the SEA for them to gain some experience forming battle plans and enacting them.
