ROCCAT KAVE 5.1

arrived today and I can't get the mic to work. Windows doesn't see it.
Any suggestions ?

very happy with them.
metal hinges were one of the selling points for me and the fit is comfortable.

previous headset was turtlebeach z6a. I liked their clip-on control and the mic design; but they were made of the cheapest plastics available.
I tell everyone that asks about them to avoid them like the plague.

From most accounts I've read, the latest Turtle Beach headsets are flimsy plastic junk.  
By sheer dumb luck, I have an older Turtle Beach HPA2, which works well for me.
