Better than anything else we have. I guess one could make a case for the B-25, but it doesn't have those broad wings, and stepless cockpit.

C205. It's the only fighter I've been flying for the last week or so. It's a challenge to fly and I'm still getting used to the guns. I've got about 125 kills in it so far. Going to try and get up to 1000 then switch to another "hanger queen" plane. Maybe even go to the C202.

Right now, it's the F4U. I feel like I really SHOULD learn to love the Navy planes after all...

But my real loves are the P-47D-11 and the Bf-109. I miss the crap out of them sometimes...

Love the F6F though; stable, tough, maneuverable. If only it was a tad faster.

The speed of the F4U seems better suited to me than the F6F, but I really don't like either of them at all compared to my old Jugs and 109s. It's more of "I HAVE to like a Navy plane, right?"

The F6F has the absolute worst rear views of any fighter in the game.  Using your keyboard, views can be adjusted to give excellent sight lines out of the F4U.  No such luck for the F6F.

Given the choice, I would rather the Hellcat had the F4U's roll rate than it's speed, any day of the week.
