Saitek X55 split throttles
« on: July 15, 2014, 11:27:45 AM »
Hey guys, I've run into a little thing with my new Saitek X55. The throttle is two split throttles, and I almost always fly the B-17/B-24. Is there any way I can map Engine 1 and 2 to my left throttle, and 3 and 4 to my right?  :headscratch:

Thanks, Whiskey2  :salute

Try mapping engine one to the right and engine three to the left and see if engine 2 gets tied to 1 and 4 gets tied to 3.

Nope. Moving left throt with that setup moves 1,2,4 but 3 stays in it's own position.  :headscratch:

Well, then there is no way to slave multiple engines to one throttle, at this time.

I am not familiar with the X55 but if it has a detent wep and or idle, you might be able to use that as a switch and choose the outboard engines on each side.  Not what you wanted but might be a  something to try anyway.  Might be very awkward.

Worth a post in the wish section.
