I am not sure what would be evolved with this wish, but there are other sim's around, which requires the pilot to use his "cursor" to turn on and off switch's. You place your cusor over a switch and left click to engage or turn on and the same to turn off. A lot of players in this game would like to see more "immersion" into the game and this is one way which would enhance the game.
I know that there would have to be check list's for starting and other things, but it would certainly change the game from a video game to a true flight sim. Try as some of us have, we can't move the game in that direction with what we have to work with. Players would also have to be familiar with the cockpit layout of the aircraft they wanted to fly, in order to activate the correct switches and etc. I know for the non pilot in this game, they would not like that at all, so you could have a choice of auto start and etc, just like you do in this game now.
And no "spawn" out on runway, you would have to start in the hangar and taxi into position, but I know that would make it difficult to run missions and etc, but for the solo pilot who would like this "Manuel" method of game play, this would make the game much more interesting.
