Host connection lost
« on: August 01, 2014, 10:30:00 AM »
Im having trouble connecting. Its been quite random heres a ping plot as Skuzzy told me to do. I have no idea what it means... I get the Host Connection Lost message about a minute after I log onto the game with no Lost UDP session switch to TCP message. Ping is usually around 80-90 when I log on

You need to let it run for at least 2 minutes.

Have you tried resetting your modem and router? Unplug them both, wait a couple minutes then plug in the modem, wait a couple minutes then plug in the router, wait a couple minutes then run the ping plotter again.

What your looking for a lot less "red" in the graph.

How old id your modem and router? Modems seem to last a few years, but routers not so much. Best I've had is about 18 months. When they die they die slow dropping connections and stuff. Resetting the units can give you a clean run for a bit, but if it is going bad your connections will start dropping out again. The quicker they start going bad the worst they are. That's how it happens for my stuff, your experiences my be different.

I'm having this problem as well too, FooFiter here, I cant log into LW arena, I go in and lose connection.  I can go into MW arena and managed to stay in for a few minutes, but now cannot get into the game.  I'll try again soon.  I have never had this problem, and it started a day and a half ago, ping shows up, players online show up, but I can't stay on.

QWEASY, all your problems are starting in your ISP's network.  You need to send this data to them and ask them what is going on.  It is all over the place.
