Battle of Britain coming, Thursday Aug. 14

The anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Adler Tag (Eagle Day), is coming up.  On Thursday, August 14th, we are running it at two times, 3 pm Eastern and 10 pm Eastern in Special Events II arena.

Who doesn't want to fly in the Battle of Britain?!

Yeah I flew a 111 last time we had a big event and it was awesome. We got jumped by a huge flight of Hurri's and it was just madness. We ended up putting a hurt into England. The 111 isnt quite so defenseless when in a historical correct setting.

Its a real nice handling Bomber.

It is a slower than the Ju 88, but it has a much nicer field of defensive fire, and so it was a good battle every time.  Also, BoB is Spit I and Hurri I, so no cannons makes a huge difference.

Just week ago got my Cliffs of Dover working with team fusion patch. I haven't tried it yet online. I feel I'm too old to go through the trouble to learn the engine management thingy and such stuff (considering the amount of hours I have actually time to sit by my computer nowadays). But every now and then I might give it a change. BoB have been my favourite setting since the days of European Air War. It is one of those rare fronts where the planesets are well balanced between the two forces and this makes it ideal online campaign.

Can't really wait for this one....
