What brand of joystick?
« on: August 07, 2014, 02:19:12 PM »
My "Thrustmaster" has no rudder control.
Your seat cushion will act as a flotation device until the sharks show up, then it becomes a bobber.

I recommend adding rudder pedals if you can manage them.

If you can't afford or don't want pedals this is a good stick for the price.

What are you looking to do? The stick I posted isn't too expensive and uses a twist motion to be used as a rudder control.

I second this. "Thrustmaster" is only a brand. I have two different models of them and they both have the twisty feature. I believe all of their cheaper models have it. Then again, if you have a Warthog then your gear is serious enough to justify a set of pedals. Not to mention that if you own a steering wheel with pedals, you can use them in AH along with all your flying gear.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

OK, Thanks Fugitive, that twist motion thing sounds exactly like what I want. I'll check that out.

I found that T16000 at Fry's, its awesome, real smooth and real sensitive. The rudder action now allows me to saw wings off before I put it down for good. AH should get my sign up fee on Monday, I'm lookin forward to it. I thank you Fugitive and what color team are you on I'll look you up when I get there?

I'm glad you like the stick. I think I may get one if my CH stick ever gives up on me.

I fly Rook on the weekends, but as a new player I would recommend flying each team for a few days. This way you can find other players doing the things you like to do at the time you fly.

I'd be happy to fly with you..... or against you :devil  welcome to Aces High.
