I was rooting for Ohio State.  I'd rather see Nick Saban use his super mad face than see Urban Meyer cry.   :)

Sorry OSU fans, TCU got screwed.

I guess OSU deserved to be there after all, eh?  ;)

TCU should have been #4 but Baylor had a really good argument.

Except that Ohio State just beat Alabama, and Michigan State beat Baylor.  ;)

Oregon looks nearly unbeatable.  Arizona pulled it off though, so I'm hoping that Ohio State can, too.

Oregon looked unbeatable four years ago in the Rose Bow and were favored then as they will be this time.

Oh ya.......BTW.........the Buckeyes won that one also.

Perhaps Ohio State could beat Oregon AGAIN with a 3rd string QB?

 1962: Ohio State - 26; Oregon - 7

Ohio State's third-string quarterback had to be the hero against the Ducks. John Mummey, Ohio State's starter, was injured. Bill Mrukowski, who was not even on the travel squad, paced Ohio State to a 26-7 win.

Ohio State outgained Oregon 316 to 107 on the ground. The key play may have been Bruce Snyder's second quarter fumble on Oregon's own 23-yard line. Bill Spahr secured the loose ball. Mrukowski led the ensuing drive to give Ohio State a 14-0 lead.

The loss for Oregon, which finished 6-3-1 in 1962, cost the Webfoots a chance at a bowl game.

I just got done watching Ohio State annihilate Oregon.  I was a bit worried about those four turnovers, but needlessly worried, as it turned out.

Congratulations, O hi o.

Quarterback aside, the key to OSU's win was in the line - both sides of the ball.  I haven't seen such size, speed, and talent in many years.  I was reminded of the dusty old glory days at Nebraska.  Meyer has OSU loaded.  Okay now we can talk about a 3rd stringer who plays better than many pro quarterbacks.

I was rooting for Oregon and never considered them an underdog until 21 unanswered points...

OSU looked like dynasty re-born last night.  Carrumba.

the depth and talent on osu was something special.  Oregon d line look wooped near the end.  they probably did not have to play that hard, for that long, all year.

four turnovers and lose, wow.
