Big fight at A39

Big fight at A39.  Nice fight between axis and allied squads there.  AKs and CHawks came in early and engaged enemy fighters.  Was a hellova battle and quite fun.  JG-11 and VF-17 were able to come in and make good drops.  <S> to Chawks, JG-11, VF-17 and AK's for the attack on A39.

It was fun and glad we were able to accomplish our objective.

Agreed, and covering our Stuka's butts on the way out .  <S> to JG11 for punching the hole that the Stukas could sneak in from.  Turned in a sector behind and had an almost totally clear run in, except for one high spit that came into icon range but didn't engage. Good plan, timing, and execution, by all involved

Unforgiven had the sole responsibility of protecting 39. We were overwhelmed and under gunned. AK and the CHawks came in with their 109 E's and whooped us like step children. Then the bombs came, and came again!  When our guys do good I am the first to tell them but when the enemy kicks our butt I'll toss them a  as well. Great plan axis and well executed. Guess RAF will have to get busy with more aircraft construction.

Normally when I get assigned a Stuka my expectations are 1) finish 3 scotches on ingress 2) hope to get bombs off on target and 3) get shot down at or near target.  Our CAP was so strong this mission that I only did two of those!
