This week in AVA
« on: September 05, 2014, 10:38:03 AM »

This week we will be running a coop staged several times a day so there will usually be something going on even if the arena is empty.

Come check it out!

I think that it is fitting that the coop mission be associated with the Flying Tigers.  This type of game play is way ahead of the curve, as for what HTC has to offer.  The Flying Tigers presented the yet uncommitted US to play a roll in the fight against Axis forces.  Volunteers from North America famously captured the imagination of millions at home, and began to live some of the most memorable moments of heroism while fighting tyranny with the newly developed air combat.

Jimson, thank you and AvA staff for spending your voluntary efforts to bring what most of us had hoped for from the early days of AH1.  HTC has supplied you with some tools :salute and you sir have grabbed the yoke  :joystick: and made a go at it.

Fellow AH addicts, it would be un American not to step up and try this out.  I for one, will not let the opportunity pass (all things favorable).

Getting towered by the missions is annoying... Especially when there is no mission to be seen... No NPC's anything despite it being scheduled...

:|

NPC is the ID for AI... If a mission was running you would be able to see them on the roster via dot-command... But if of course the mission was doing what it should whether or not anyone was actually in it.

Or... "NON-PLAYER CHARACTER"

Apparently it's no longer working even in the limited fashion it was.

Missions all removed.

We'll try again once HTC get's back on the mission system after the terrain engine is done.

Oh you're welcome. It will be all good in time. We'll have new graphics, a Mission Theatre arena and some cool ways of running missions in AvA.
