This game made me realize that video games were becoming bigger than just games, that they would become a new form of art.

I loved the Marathon start music.  This is what you'd hear at work, then heads would dart up from you desks, people would shout "It's Marathon time!", and in we'd go.

I used to dip the linemen in paint to make them bigger and heavier, so they could push the smaller guys around.  Made up my own 32 teams, rosters, rules and even kept stats (Snailman would like those  ) Haven't played in many years.  Maybe I'll restart the league someday. 

Still have 1 player left from my brother's 1974 set, with his original base.  He runs a wicked left side sweep.

If you played Doom on anything but the PC (not including the N64 version), you haven't played Doom at all.

Wonder if they may do a 'graphic enhanced' re-make of Mafia 1. The character and atmosphere that mafia 1 had they tried to implement into mafia 2, but they simply couldn't do it.
