Objectives

The Axis team will advance South West crossing the
bridge to occupy the French city to the North West
of A142 (17 4 2 7).

All Allied armored force will block and hold the
wehrmacht armored units from reaching and occupying
the city.

*** Whichever team occupies the centre of the
city at frame's end wins the frame ***

The city is the old type without an industrialcentre, therefore on this occasion the centre will be the big open area in the middle around the cursor:

September, 1944. Patton’s 3rd Army was across the
Moselle River in the vicinity of Nancy, but the
Germans launched a series of powerful armored
counterattacks to restore the situation and crush
the over-extended U.S. spearheads of 4th Armored
Division. The 21st Panzer Division and 15th
Panzergrenadier Division were thrown into the attacks.
To stave off the Germans, troops were stripped from
uninvolved units, leaving Combat Command A (CCA) of
4th Armored Division isolated near Arracourt and
dangerously weak.
