     awesome kill on 2 brews tonite, fighting a high spit14, killed him, then noticed 2 brews on a friendly's 6 at 1.5k below me. I rolled over and fired a burst to try and scare them of his six, and I was shocked to see one of my 20mm hit one of their cockpits and he explodes instantly ! I keep diving and get right on the other's six, he's fixated on the friendly, but at the last second he sees me and pulls straight up, I squeeze the trigger and pull hard as I can, as the black out clears.. im spiraling down in a stall right next to the Brew who now seems to be missing his tail    I recover and fly home.

I ho all Brewsters just out of General principle. It could be a 10 v1 in my favor the brew is getting ho'd. Its not a question of is it the best plane in the world, or if its over modeled or if it's one of the biggest victims out there. The Brewster gets ho'd all day erryday

Yep the FAF pilots called the brewster 'the pearl of the sky' everyone loved its flight characteristics. It was flown well late to the war when it was completely outclassed in speed already, still it maintained a very high k/d ratio with the best airframe scoring 30+ kills.

Against I16s and IL2s. Not La5s and Yak9us.

The only fighters having a worse a2a combat record in the LW arena are mostly used as bombtrucks. The Brewster has the worst combat record of all 'pure' fighters, with the Spit 14 not far behind

Actually you are mistaken. Brewster kept maintaining a high k/d against Yak-9s and La-5s aswell. Not as high as against I-16s and I1-53s for example but high nonetheless.
